Are there any restrictions on what can be sold?
Artfinder is a community marketplace for original artworks, hand-made limited edition prints and fine art limited prints of paintings, collages and drawings available on the site, with a maximum edition size of 250. As part of this broad-selection, we welcome many different types of artworks; as long as they can be categorised as one of the following:
- Original Paintings
- Original Drawings
- Original Collages
- Original and limited edition Sculptures
- Printmaking
- Hand-made limited edition or single edition prints are allowed, including linocuts, screenprints, etchings, collagraphs, lithographs, woodcuts and monoprints.
- The maximum print run is 250
- Fine Art Photography
- Photography can be sold as a limited edition or single edition print
- The maximum print run is 250
- Digital Art
- Artworks which have been created digitally (including digitally generated graphic art, digital collages and digital iPad artworks)
- Digital Art can be sold as a limited edition or single edition print
- The maximum print run is 250
- Artists cannot scan an image of an original artwork they already sell and work on top of this
- Fine art reproduction prints of original paintings, collages and drawings (when the original is available for sale on the site).
- Maximum edition size is 250 (however we do recommend smaller edition sizes).
- Artists will have to provide either a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity with every print sold OR number and sign each print before dispatch.

What can I not sell on Artfinder?
- Clothing (including limited edition screen printed t-shirts)
- Homeware and functional objects, including; candle holders, teapots, cups, lamps, incense burners
- Furniture
- Rugs and carpets
- Jewellery
- Greeting cards
- Postcards
- Digital files of artworks only
- Masks
- Non - Fine Art decorative objects including; toys, wooden carvings, macrame
- Images created using Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Artists cannot scan an image of their artwork and work on top of this
