How do I contact my customer?

The Artfinder Messaging System

We encourage art lovers to use the Artfinder Messaging System anytime to get answers to their questions directly from you! 

This system keeps the lines of communication open to any customers introduced to you on Artfinder, and helps you build professional relationships! 

You can view and respond to your Messages directly from your account. 

To contact your customer after they place their order:

1. Login to your Artfinder account, and click the Dashboard icon in the top right hand corner of your screen

2. Click on the Transactions tab

3. Select the relevant Pending order(s)

4. Click on the icon with the envelope that reads 'Contact the buyer'. 

Your message will reach your customer via Artfinder, as well as their direct email address in the form of a notification.

Can I contact my customer by telephone or email?

No, it is strictly against our policy to contact customers via their email or phone number provided on the order page, and it should only be used for any details needed for shipments or important shipping documentation. If in exceptional circumstances you need to contact the customer via phone in regard to your shipment for their order, please get in touch with sellers@artfinder.com to let us know first, so we understand the reason this needed to happen.

Sellers must communicate with customers exclusively through the platform messaging system as per our seller terms and agreements. Direct contact with customers outside the platform, including but not limited to: by email, phone, text message, WhatsApp, social media, or similar methods, is strictly prohibited.

Any attempt to contact customers off-platform or circumvent the platform may result in warnings, suspension, restriction of seller privileges, or permanent account termination.


NOTE: Any attempts to complete sales or any other monetary transactions initiated on the Artfinder website outside of the Artfinder platform are strictly prohibited, and will result in the suspension or removal of your account.
