Extended return period from 1st of November to the 13th Of December
What is the extended returns promotion?
To help maximise interest during the holiday season and support those buying art as a gift, we’ve extended our returns period for all orders placed between 1st November and 13th December. Any orders placed within this time frame will be eligible for return until 8th January. Orders placed before 1st November or after 13th December will be subject to our standard 14-day returns policy.
Will the extended returns promotion during Black Friday and Christmas affect my payment date?
We want to reassure you that the extended returns period will not affect your usual payment schedule. Payments will continue as normal, meaning any orders that are not returned within the standard 14-day window will be included in your next eligible payment cycle. For more information on this, click here.
However, for any orders placed between 1st November and 13th December, customers will have until 8th January to return the artwork under our extended returns policy. If a return is made within this extended period and you have already been paid for the order, Artfinder will process the return as usual. In this case, the amount will be recouped from sales over a period of three months. If there are no further sales in that timeframe, we will contact you to arrange repayment directly.
What will happen if the customer returns the artwork due to damage after 30 days during the Extended returns promotion?
Any orders placed within this specified time frame will be eligible for return until 8th January.
In cases where an artwork is returned due to damage after the courier's 30-day claim window, you may be unable to recoup the cost via the shipping provider.
We therefore have advised all customers to report any damage as soon as they receive their artwork. Customers have up until the 8th of Jan to report any returns for any orders placed between the 1st of November and the 13th of December. Rest assured, damage return requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please see more about return requests here for damaged artwork cases as per our usual policy here.
If the customer returns the item, how will this affect me if I've already been paid.
To recover the cost of refunded orders, we will recoup the funds over a three-month period, automatically deducting from your following payment statements during this time on any new orders you receive. Deductions will apply to all statements issued within the three-month window. If the full amount is not recovered by the end of this period, our dedicated support team will contact you to settle the remaining balance, typically via a PayPal invoice.
You will be informed when any of your orders are processed for a return, as we usually communicate, in this extended return initiative and will be notified of any deductions accordingly. This will include all necessary information related to the order of the artwork being returned.
