How will I be paid?

How will I be paid for my sales?

As a seller on Artfinder, you can be paid by choosing one of the payment methods listed below:

1. Bank transfer to a UK bank account. Best for those who have one of the following:

• UK GBP bank account 
• GBP Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless bank account

Payments arrive within a day.

2. Bank transfer to an EU bank account (IBAN number). Best for those who have one of the following:

• EUR, GBP, and USD bank account with an IBAN number (in SEPA zone)
• EUR Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless bank account

Payments arrive within a day (EUR) or 2-5 working days (GBP, USD)

Can be also used for the holders of:

• EUR, USD, and GBP bank account in a country outside SEPA zone

Please note payments outside SEPA will be processed via SWIFT system and intermediary bank charges might apply. These charges may vary and are out of Artfinder’s and our payment processors’ control.*

Payments arrive within 2-5 working days.

3. Wise (TransferWise) by email. Best for those who have one of the following:

• USD bank account based in the USA
• EUR bank account with an IBAN number
• GBP bank account based in the UK
• GBP, EUR, and USD Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless bank account

How does it work?

• You will be paid via email, so you are not required to save your bank details on Artfinder

• On the pay run day, you will receive an email from Wise asking you to enter your bank account details to receive a payment
• Once the payment has been sent out by Artfinder to you, you’ll receive another email notification stating when to expect your funds

• It usually takes 1 working days to receive the payment

4. Bank transfer to Ukrainian Privat Bank account. Best for artists based in Ukraine who are Privat Bank account holders in one of the following currencies:

• UAH (processed via Wise (previously TransferWise), check fees and mid-market currency rates here)
• EUR*
• USD*
• GBP**

*From 31 July 2019 payments to EUR and USD personal accounts (via Wise) have become faster and cheaper. They are no longer sent via SWIFT system so no intermediary bank charges apply. Payments arrive within 1-2 working days. Read more about faster EUR & USD payments to Ukraine here

**Please note payments to GBP will be processed via SWIFT system and therefore intermediary bank charges might apply. These charges may vary and are out of Artfinder’s and our payment processors’ control. Payments arrive within 2-5 working days.

Russia/Belarus

CAD/AUD introduction

NOTE: Payments under $50/€50/£50 will run over to the next payment run unless the payment method is one of the following:

1. Bank transfer to a UK bank account including Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless account(payment currency: GBP)
2. Bank transfer to an EU bank account (IBAN account number in SEPA zone, payment currency: EUR)
3. Wise (previously TransferWise) by email:

• EU based bank account holders (countries within SEPA) including Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless account (payment currency: EUR)
• USA based bank account holders including Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless account (payment currency: USD)
• UK based bank account holders including Wise (previously TransferWise) borderless account (payment currency: GBP)

4. Bank transfer to Ukrainian bank accounts (payment receiving currency: UAH, EUR & USD). See point 4 above about cheaper & faster payments to Ukraine.
