Are there any restrictions on what can be sold?

Artfinder is a community marketplace for original artworks and hand-made limited edition prints (with a maximum print run of 150). As part of this broad-selection, we welcome many different types of artworks; as long as they can be truthfully categorised as one of the following:

  • Original Paintings
  • Original Drawings
  • Original Collages
  • Original and limited edition Sculptures
  • Printmaking
    • Only hand-made limited edition or single edition prints are allowed, including linocuts, screenprints, etchings, collagraphs, lithographs, woodcuts and mono prints.
    • The maximum print run is 150
    • Absolutely no reproduction giclée or c-type prints of original artworks are allowed.
  • Fine Art Photography
    • Photography can be sold as a limited edition or single edition print
    • The maximum print run is 150
  • Digital Art
    • Artworks which have been created or altered using digital technology (including digitally generated graphic art, digital collages, digitally manipulated artworks, and digital iPad artworks)
    • Digital Art can be sold as a limited edition or single edition print
    • The maximum print run is 150 
    • Absolutely no reproduction giclée or c-type prints of original artworks are allowed

What can I not sell on Artfinder?

  • Reproduction prints derived from original artworks (including paintings, drawings and collages)
  • ACEO's (Art Card Originals and Editions)
  • Clothing (including limited edition screen printed t-shirts)
  • Furniture
  • Household items
  • Jewellery
  • Multi-purpose items
